After Shao
Kahn's defeat and Edenia was freed, Jade returned to her homeland along with
Sindel and served there as a protector. When the Deadly Alliance was formed
and threats of the Dragon King arrose she desperately wanted to join her friend
in battle ... only she arrived too late. Kitana had been slain, but before
she could do anything, she witnessed the Dragon King bringing the Princess
back to life -- as a slave to him.
Jade returned to Edenia to find that Sindel had been captured because she refused to fight her own daughter, Jade however, did not. She freed Sindel and the two escaped where they were both determined to stop the Dragon King and free Kitana from the evil spell. Jade realized that Tanya was working along side of the Dragon King and as she was already a traitor to Edenia, this did not sit well with the green-clad Edenian. Aside from freeing Kitana, Jade also has a large score to settle.
