Aquarius is a dwarf galaxy, and also a constillation. The water carrier in Aquarius is said to be Ganymede, a Phrygian youth. Ganymede was the son of Tros, king of Troy. While tending his father's flocks on Mount Ida, Ganymede was spotted bu Jupiter who was over come by the boy's beauty. He flew down in the form of a large bird and took Ganymede away to the heavens where the boy now serves os cupbearer to the gods.
