A year after the events of Stars and Sailor Moon has found that her life has became a lot easier. Over the period of the 12 months, less and less youma have appeared, culminating in a peaceful six months. Mamoru has left for University again and is doing well, with daily correspondance between him and Usagi. Everyone is content and things are going so well two weddings have been planned, those between Michiru and Haruka and Usagi and Mamoru.
However, not everyone is happy. Deep in the darkness of space, an intense hatred is brewing as each day passes. The energy is so strong the waves of evil spread like ripples and it isn't long before the atmosphere on Earth turns sinister. More youma begin to appear and things take a turn for the worse when previous enemies are reborn and given the chance to seek their revenge on our clumsy heroine.
The pinnacle of the tragic events begin to play out when Usagi is woken in the night by the Guardian Cosmos, begging for help. Chaos has attacked the Galaxy Cauldron and merged with it, making Chaos the mother of every star seed in existence. Anyone who has stood in the way of Chaos in the past is now under threat and the world turns to Sailor Moon, the brighest star seed in existence. With the return of the Star Lights, the Animamates, the Amazoness Quartet and Sailor Galaxia returning to the side of good, Sailor Moon and the Senshi are thrown into a confusing battle where the lines between good and evil have never been so fragile.
Realising that the power the Sailor Team currently possess is nowhere near enough to stop the oncoming threat, the Sailor Team have to race against the clock to reach new levels of strength, defeat previous and new enemies whilst trying to find a way to stop Chaos. Will Sailor Moon be able to finally stop the evil that is Chaos and with the help of the other Senshi, save the world?
